It was cold. So very cold. Snow was everywhere, which meant that it was impossible for her to be able to leave her cave without being seen, even in the middle of the night. Stupid leafbare weather; how dare it interfere with Zazu's great plans! Well, no matter. She wouldn't sit here, complaining like a pitiful kit. If she had to stay in her cave, so be it. Lots of prey came into her cave, so she wouldn't starve. She wouldn't be stopped by frozen water.
And she was right. It didn't take long for a mouse to crawl into her den seeking shelter. Zazu immediately pounced on it, giving it a quick, clean killing bite. "Your death allows me to live. Feel honored that your life has been given to me." she didn't feel like lecturing the mouse for too long, so she gave it a quick talking to before devouring it. Now that she had a full belly, she could plan her next step towards destroying the clan cats.
She sat for hours, the moon rising to moonhigh. It was at midnight when she had an idea. But she would need another cat, someone so gullible, or so desperate, that he would do anything she would say, at least for a little while.

For once, Prowl was very thankful for his thick fur. Usually it was more of a bother then anything else, but with the gently falling snow it was a StarClan given blessing. Prowl watched absent as his breath turned into a fine mist that disappeared into the dark night sky. As usual the tom was wandering the lands but never straying too far from the clans.
Shaking his pelt of the stray snow, he decided he should find shelter for the night so he could return to the clans the next day and try to catch a glimpse of Cricketsong in ThunderClan. His shoulders sagged under the weight of his stray thoughts of his mate. Prowl could really use another warm cat to curl up with in defense against the biting cold of the night.
Finally the tom spotted a nearly hidden den that could serve its purpose for the night. He trotted over to the den and cautiously made his way inside.

Zazu pricked her ears at the sound of heavy pawsteps.he opened her mouth slightly, tasting the air, and took a sniff. Cat. Fluffy, and bulky. How curious. Zazu sat, waiting for the newcomer to enter her den. His pawsteps became louder, and she sat, still as a stone, as he walked in. She would give him no time to look around. Zazu pounced on him, catching him on the shoulders and shoving them into the wall, one paw on his throat and the other on his belly. Her claws were unsheather, but she wasn't planning on killing this cat. He had something she wanted. "So," she spoke, her voice cold and high, sounding like claws scraping against ice, "you have decided to appear in front of the god Zazu. What is it you seek?" she would not allow this cat to know anything about her, so instead of speaking fluff she got straight to the point.

Prowl didn't have time to react when a sudden shape attacked him. Prowl was by no means a bad fighter, quite the opposite but not even he could fight against such a strong force. Not that he didn't try. The tom lashed out with his claws, his fangs bared threateningly and sounds of anger rushing from his vocal cords. He froze when he felt claws at his exposed throat and under belly and unwilling relaxed under the hold as not to cause himself any more pain.
He pricked his ears as the other spoke, he could only guess it was another cat from the sounds it was making but nothing more than that. He pinned his ears to his head as he was confused by the other's words. "What I want is not something even a God provide." He meowed bitterly, trying to subtly through the cat off in vain.

Zazu laughed coldly, her purr empty and emotionless. She stepped off the cat. She could see all of him, but he could barely see any of her. "Something not even I can provide? I beg to differ, young cat." she meowed, taking a seat and wrapping her tail around her paws, her bloody gaze boring into the other cats eyes. "I ask again- what is it you wish? I haven't got all night, I suggest you speak up, unless you want to miss the chance to get what you want. What you deserve."
