There was snow everywhere. On the ground, on the trees, on top(or in) the dens. Harsh winds blew about, snow flying about in the air as it fell heavily to the ground. The blizzard had just begun, and it was certainly something that would make it into clan history.
Dreamcloud: It was so cold. Hopefully no cat would catch a cold. Dreamcloud gathered all her supplies and, with difficulty, carried them to the back of the den to keep them safe from the cold snow. She couldn't afford to lose her precious supply now, especially since all the herbs would be destroyed by the snow. Luckily, she had gathered plenty of herbs while the weather was still good, so she had a plentiful stock. Hopefully it would last. Dreamcloud padded out of her den, trying to see.Her vision was obscured to the chaos of snow and cats, and she tried to make out who was who and what was going on. She shook snow off her pelt and walked around camp, giving cats instructions. "You, go collect all the fresh-kill and put it in any snow-free den you can find." "You, go get the kits, queens, and elders and get them to go in my den, where it's safe." She instructed random cats. She couldn't tell who was who with the snow, but she hoped that whoever she was talking to, they obliged to do so. Dreamcloud looked around worriedly, wondering where Featherstar and Gingerpelt were.

Sprinting through the forest toward camp Gingerpelt new camp must be a complete disaster at the moment. She had been at the far border when it had begun snowing and had thought nothing of it untill it started comeing down harder. Getting back to camp from where she was took a while alone but now the snow was against her so she tried to make it as fast as she posible could. Not watching where she was going her right front paw fell into a whole and twisted. Falling to the ground she was in alot of pain. Standing back up she realized she couldnt put any pressure on the paw without if hurting. She decided to pick a stick up and bite it the way back to camp because she had to makke it back fast no matter how her paw hurt. Setting her paw down she bit the stick as the pain came to her. She didnt care she sprinted toward camp the pain corsing through her the whole time. Stepping into camp she spotted the mess at once and screamed "EVERYONE STOP AND SETTLE DOWN FOR A MEETING!" deciding it was better not to use the official camand the leader uses. Limping over toward the meeting place she dropped the stick seeing she had bit it so hard there was blood on it now she settled near where the leader would stand and waited for everything to settle down looking over her injured paw.

Featherstar entered the camp, shaking the loose snow off of his pelt. Brr! He thought. It was really cold, and he had only caught a few mice while out on a hunting patrol for what was only a while, but felt like moons. He shivered as he set the mice in the fresh kill pile, a slight limp in his step as usual as he made his way over to the high rock, his usual place for meetings. But with a second thought he made his way over to where Dreamcloud stood, handing out orders to anyone who would obey them.
"Make sure every cat is warm enough," he said. "we don't need anyone getting sick. Not now that its a new moon." A new beginning.
To keep warm, he padded lightly on the snow, as it crunched, crunched, crunched, in time with his steps.

Dreamcloud looked up, noticing that Gingerpelt and Featherstar have arrived. When Featherstar approached her, she began to speak at once, "I'm worried, some cat might catch a cold and I don't have any catmint. Things are going to get worse." she mewed urgently to her leader. "It doesn't seem as though we will be able to leave camp any time soon."
When she heard his orders, she nodded, and turned to the cats in the clearing. Since only her den and the nursery were free from snow, that was where everyone would have to stay. She rounded up the apprentices, "Get your nests and move to the Nursery." All the apprentices nodded, got their nests, and made their way into the nursery. She would check on every cat once they were safe. She then turned to the warriors. "Get your nests and go to either the Nursery or my den." She sprinted to her den, where the elders, queens, and kits were. She would have to check them for any disease. As soon as she squeezed into her nest, she got to work. [/center]

Cloudchaser was humming to himself, trying to calm his beating heart as he searched for the fresh kill pile. All around him he could hear various voice of his clan mates, yowling, hissing and meowing to one another, trying to form some kind of order within the clan. He shook his head, concentrating on trying to dig out a stubborn frog frozen in the ground. Frustrated, Cloudchaser hooked his jaws around the frog and yanked hard on it. It came free, sending the white tom reeling with surprise and falling into the snow with a soft thump.
He quickly jumped to his paws, sneezing as some snow teased his nose and glared at the frog. "That was not funny." He muttered moodily before picking up the frog and trotting in the direction of the majority of the voices. He came just in time to see Dreamcloud disappear into her den. Letting out a sigh of relief at the sight of the she cat he turned to look for Burntfur, praying she was alright. He dropped the frog, turning his head this way and that before settling his unusually serious gaze on Gingerpelt. "Where's Burntfur? She isn't out in that, is she?" He meowed, gesturing at the camp entrance.

Seeing Cloudchaser wrestling with a frog, Gingerpelt gave a purr of amusement. As Cloudchaser walked up, she noticed the look in his eye. Listening to his question she looked toward the entrance. "I'm not sure, I haven't seen her since the blizzard started." She said seriously. She really hadn't seen Burntfur in a while. "You shouldn't worry, she is strong and smart. She knows what to do." Knowing Cloudchaser, she had to think quick before he sprinted out of camp to find his sister "Why don't you go to the medicine cats den and see if Dreamcloud needs any help with the medicine. You are around the medicine all the time, so you could probably help her in some way. I will look for Burntfur and tell you if I see any sign from her." She said hoping that will calm him she padded away toward Featherstar seeing what she thinks of all this.

Dreamcloud trotted over to Gingerpelt and Cloudchaser, "I'm sure Burntfur is fine." she mewed soothingly, resting the tip of her tail on his shoulder, "Come, I need you to help me check the clan for sickness. And Gingerpelt, " she called, "Come to my den, too. That injury isn't going to magically heal on its own." she padded back to the den, checking cats for sickness. If they had traces of illness, she sent them to her den. If they were healthy, she sent them to their dens to get their nests and move to a safe den.
