There was snow everywhere. On the ground, on the trees, on top(or in) the dens. Harsh winds blew about, snow flying about in the air as it fell heavily to the ground. The blizzard had just begun, and it was certainly something that would make it into clan history.
Daisystar:
Daisystar fluffed up her fur, shaking snow off her white pelt. It was freezing! She squinted her eyes, trying to make out the blurs off cats as her clan exited the dens to figure out what was going on. The only dens where snow had not found a way in were her den, the nursery, and the medicine cat's den. All the other dens where covered in snow. Daisystar leaped on top of the Highledge and yowled "All cats old enough to catch there own...ALL CATS GATHER IN THE HIGHLEDGE CLEARING!" she wanted every member of Thunderclan out here, so they could discuss what to do. Prey had already been scarce, so now what were they to do? And they had to keep every cat warm; she didn't want any cat freezing or catching a cold. Atleast they would have plenty of water, with all the snow available for them to eat. The wind blew ferociously, and she had to try not to tumble off the ledge.
Lilymist, Flamestep, Meadowpaw, Beechpaw:
Lilymist shivered, pressing her pelt against Flamestep's, as she dreamed of whiteness. A never ending whiteness that surrounded her. Lilymist yowled for help, but no cat came. All was silent, just the wind howling on her ears... Lilymist woke with a start, blinking her eyes open to find that there was more whiteness. More whiteness, and more wind. She jumped up, paniced, to find Flamestep at her side. "Are you okay?" he asked, but he had to say it very loudly to be heard over the wind. "So much snow!" Lily gasped, looking at her mate with a startled, worried expression. "What are we going to do?" "Not much to do, but keep everyone safe. Come on, we have to go check on Beechpaw and Meadowpaw!" the two cats raced out of the warrior's den and struggled over to the apprentices den. There, they spotted Beechpaw and Meadowpaw, huddled together. "Lilymist, Flamestep, what's happening?" Meadowpaw whimpered, while Beechpaw shivered, saying nothing. "Just a blizzard, dear." Lilymist soothed, while Flamestep padded over to his kits and placed his tail on Beechpaw's shoulder reassuringly. Beechpaw pricked his ears as he heard Daisystar's yowl. "Come on, we have to go to the Highledge!" he meowed, and the four cats padded out of the den, struggling against the harsh wind and snow to go to the clearing.

Falconpaw:
Waking to see snow everywhere Falconpaw jumped up with a start. Struggling to hear anything and hoping he wasnt missing anything he stuggled to get out of the den. Once outside he got low to the ground and with his ears pressed against his head he stumpled to what looked like daisystar. Onece getting to what he thought was daisystar he realized it was just the snow messing up his vision. Spotting the real daisystar he made his way towrds her just in time to see her jump onto the hight rock and call for every cat to come. Nudging his way through the cats he found a place near the middle where he would be the most protected form the wind then looked up at daisystar hoping she would do something.

Cherryleaf heard the call and woke up, a bit dazed. "I hope every cat's all right.." The medicine cat mumbled to herself, trying to get what little herbs she had left organized so it'd be easier for her if an injury or sickness was to occur. She pushed her way through the piling snow out into the clearing and tried to sit up close so she could hear Daisystar. This is pretty bad... It's likely that something bad's going to happen... She sank her claws into the ground nervously and anxiously, not wanting anything bad to happen to her Clanmates when she had so little to offer and the weather was so harsh. It definitely wouldn't be easy to treat a cat in a blizzard.. Cherryleaf figured the worst that could happen was a birth- if even the smallest thing went wrong, it'd probably be over for the mother and kits.. Well, let's face it, in the cold that the blizzard held, it'd be over either way.. At least for the tiny kits. Okay, enough thinking about kits and bad things... Cherryleaf thought, shaking herself to be rid of some snow and to pull her attention back to the leader.

Brightstorm growled as she plowed her way out of the deep snow which surrounded her. "EVERYONE TO THE CLEARING, LETS GO!" On her way around, she picked up a fallen kit and placed him back in the Queen's Den, jumping on top of the snow and turning back to the highledge. "LETS GO, EVERYONE!"

Daisystar waited patiently for her clan to assemble before speaking. "Alright Thunderclan. As you can see, the leafbare weather has taken a turn for the worst, and it doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Which means we must prepare. I need cats to gather up all prey and bury it in my den so it will be safe from the snow. Then I need a group of cats to get the elders to go to the Nursery and check on the Queens and kits. Make sure that they all stay in the Nursery. Everyone else needs to go get there nest and find somewhere to sleep in either the Medicine cat den or my den, seeing as those are the only dens not covered in snow, besides the Nursery. And please remember: keep calm." Daisystar lept down, and turned to Brightstorm. "Can you tell everyone what they need to do? We should need only three cats to move the prey and one or two to move the elders and check the queens and kits." She trotted over to Cherryleaf. "Do you have herbs prepared? And has Starclan spoken to you?"

The calico she cat's ear twitched at the sound of Daisystar's voice and raised her head sleepily to look out of the nursery to observe the raging storm. Petaldance frowned to herself before setting her head once again on her paws. If the clan needed anything of they would come, but for not it would be best for her to rest. If she were to go out into the storm it would just add stress and worry to her clan mates.
The queen shifted herself, her protruding belly to the other side as not to put pressure on her kits. Petaldance turned her hazel orbs to her stomach and licked the fur over where the kits were. "No need to worry over nothing." She meowed to comfort herself.

Meadowpaw scurried off to the nursery to check on Petaldance. She hadn't been told to, but she wanted to make sure that both Petaldance and the kits were alright. She snatched a mouse as she ran up to the den and squeezed into the nursery. It was free from snow, and really warm inside. "Hi Petaldance, are you okay?I brought you a mouse." she set the mouse down at Petal's feet.

Petaldance raised her head as a another cat entered her den who she immediately recognized as Meadowpaw. Petaldance let out a purr of welcome to the apprentice. "Thank you Meadowpaw. You are so kind and thoughtful." The queen purred as she hooked the mouse on her claws and dragged it closer to her. She didn't feel hungry at the moment but was smart enough to keep the mouse on paw in case she felt hungry later and no one else could fetch food for her. The queen looked at the clearly freezing apprentice and gave a small meow of concern. "If you are not needed else where, Meadowpaw, you are more than welcome to find sanctuary here in the nursery. StarClan knows, I could use the company and a strong apprentice in case anything happens." She meowed hopefully.

"No problem, Petaldance!" Meadowpaw mewed, beaming. SHe thought for a moment about the offer. "Yeah, I'd like to stay here for a bi, since I don't have anything else to do. I'll go fetch my nest, be back soon!" Meadowpaw skittered out of the den, trying not to slip on the icy snow. She trotted into her den, grabbing her nest. When she walked out, she bumped into Beechpaw, "Sorry Beechpaw" she apologized, her voice muffled by the bedding. Beechpaw nodded, "Where are you going?" I'm gonna stay in the nursery, where there's less snow." "Aren't you gonna help clean the camp?" "Who said anything about cleaning? We don't need to, the camp is filed with snow.If we clear it, it'll just fill up again. I've already collected all the fresh kill and buried it in Daiystar's den." she picked up her moss. "Bye Beechpaw!" she flicked her tail in farewell, returning to the nursery.

Petaldance laughed at Meadowpaw's enthusiasm, before watching her as she dashed out of the den. "Be careful!" She called after the apprentice with an exasperated shake of the head. Oh Petaldance couldn't wait to see her own kits. Would they be as energetic as Meadowpaw? Or would they be more calm like she herself was? Petaldance's smile faded slightly. would she live long enough to see her kits grow to strong warriors?
Petaldance shook her head furiously, this was not the time to think about it. She had to concentrate on keeping herself healthy just for a few more days before she gave birth.
Petaldance replaced her smile when Meadowpaw came back into the den. "Here! She called out to the apprentice, moving in her nest to make room for the younger she cat. "Put your nest next to me, then we can both stay warm. This blizzard is absolutely dreadful! I hope no cat gets stuck outside their camp because of it." She thought out loud.
